Montagu Mountain Mania

Yes it’s that time of year again and if you haven’t been before then make sure you don’t miss out on all the fun this year!  The occasion you ask? Well, it’s the Montagu Mountain Mania Outdoor Adventure festival of course! Now in its 9th year, 2009 promises to be better than ever!

And to prove to you that there really is something for everyone, consider entering one of the following events:

• First Ascent MTB Classic mountain bike routes (40km or 80km)
• Asics X-treme trail runs (10 or 17km)
• Montagu Rock Rally rock climbing competition (difficulty ZA grades 8-31)

And also something for the kids:

• Kids Duathlon (Run & Bike) for under 13yrs
• 4km FunRun for all AGES

There will also be family fun entertainment at the Avalon Springs Hotel Race HQ, with great music, delicious food and, of course, use of the Avalon Hot Springs all weekend to soak those aching muscles and keep the kids happy!

And what do you get for sweating it out on the courses? Great prizes from our Festival sponsors, including loads of adventure kit, weekends away in Montagu, wines from the local area and much more!
